LexisNexis has expanded its relationship with Esmerk. In addition to the 32 feeds from Esmerk on Northern and Eastern European markets, we now also offer 19 new Latin American daily feeds. Esmerk was founded in 1975 in Finland and has subsidiaries in France, Germany, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, the UK and the US. It has around 200 employees of which more than 150 are analysts, and has over 800 corporate clients in 28 countries with end users worldwide. Esmerk is a subsidiary of the European media group SanomaWSOY, the leading media group in the Nordic region, with operations in 15 European countries. Sanoma WSOY's net sales totalled €2.7 billion in 2006 and it has some 18,500 employees.
